Prosperity with Equity
People's Alliance
The book 'Plenty for All' (Total Pages 270, Price
400/-) published in Jan. 1997, by Mehta Publishing House, 1210,
Sadashiv Peth, Pune 411 030 India, created a stir and sensation.
This book gives a clear vision of how Natueco Culture is going to
usher a new era of science with all its blessings. Events after
events followed through the publication of the book, and are still
following. It is interesting to study some of these, before we consider
Prayog Pariwar's new concept of Equity Share.
- Arun Shourie wrote two full articles on this book. These articles
appeared in more than forty leading newspapers in India. The titles
of these articles were, 1. One who has in fact wrought a revolution.
2. What an apt name Venturanand.
- 1997 - 1998 was the platinum jubilee year of Andhra Bank Hyderabad.
Shri Narayanan, Chairman and Managing Director, Andhra Bank, Hyderabad,
took interactive involvement with Prayog Pariwar to take ventures
of introducing the new paradigms of Natueco Culture in more than
100 villages in their service areas throughout the state. They
released a booklet of 32 pages on Natueco Culture. This very artistically
designed booklet was a concise but very clear presentation of
Natueco culture. This Book was released by the then finance minister
of India and the chief guest for the occasion was the Chief Minister
of Andhra Pradesh Shri Chadra Babu Naidu.
- The Ahimsa Foundation, Madras, at their cost distributed 100
copies of this book in a conference on new organic strategies
in agriculture organized by ICAR. More than 100 leading scientists
and extension officers in agriculture from all the states had
attended the meeting. I was to give the opening exposition on
new concepts of Natueco Culture. Shri Sompal, the Agriculture
Minister had graced the occasion. When I had introduced myself,
he spontaneously broke ' I was hearing your name for the last
14 years' and in a style 'Ram Bharat Bhet' he greeted me and the
media camera clicked.
- Shri Jinabhai Darji the founder of more than 100 Ashram Shalas
in the most backward tribal areas of Gujarath, being a veteran
congress leader was asked to stand for parliament election. But
he reported saying, 'I am in my eighties now. I have taken a venture
to take Natueco Culture through our schools and to the people.
The Natueco Culture ventures in 10 schools in Vyara were taken
at his inspiration.
- The Army Training Center at Panch Madhi, MP invited me for three
days interactions with the army men. Later the head office of
the Army Training Center at Simla, got interested in the methods
of Prayog Pariwar and had communication with me to evolve techniracies
and peer venture nets for retiring Army personnel who go back
to their rural homes after retirement. Some Army peer venture
nets are now coming up on their own. Every year about 50,000 army
men retire. Prayog Pariwar is certain as in scientific grape revolution,
a core of retired army men will soon evolve their own Peer venture
nets. and their own techniracies.
- Smt. Alka Desai Sharma, member of Assam legislative Assembly
has many 'Peer Venture Nets' in Natueco Culture in Assam. Her
husband, the Forest Minister of Assam, died on 27 the Feb 2000
in a bomb blast, planted by the extremists. I had her letter dated
5-7-00 before I had left for USA for 6 months. In that letter
she has written, I am representing Nalbaai constituency. In Nalbaai
per capita land holding is very low, unemployment is very high
and now the youths are committed to set a new lead. Thus it is
an ideal ground to practice harvesting of solar energy. Kindly
let me know when can you come. This time the meeting will be in
the fields.
- In July 2000, in the last four days before I left for USA, I
had an unexpected unique honor of having a phone call from Dr.
A. P. J. Abdul Kalaam. He conveyed he had read the book 'Plenty
for All' & he had become the fan of the book as also of the very
fresh approach in it. He then had a talk to find time to be in
Delhi on July 18, 2000 and spare an hour to participate in the
discussion ' How science and technology work results reach the
society for social change.' The whole discussion was to be with
consultative group of government departments, agencies on science
and technology. Later I got regular invitation letter with the
list of more than 24 leading participants. Somehow that meeting
was not possible at that time but I was at Delhi for other interactions
and had 20 minutes presentation on that day. It highlighted "Peer
Venture Net" methodology. I had put in short what I am so far
putting here. I said the real theme of meeting should be how people
on their own come seeking science and technology work results
to have their venture search to resolve their every day problems
by evolving their own techniracies.
- The book 'Plenty For All' got the highest acclamation when the
Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee elucidated the caption
on the book 'Plenty for All', 'No Waste Mind' 'No Waste Land',
before a mammoth gathering of farmers in Mumbai, on November 6th
1998.
