Quantum Jump of Prayog Pariwar

In 1969 at Sevagram -Wardha before eminent Gandhian workers, I had the occasion to put my findings and my thesis of networking ventures with the people, methods of venture creation and venture cells and my vision of evolving new sociology of science and education to eradicate ignorance and poverty; method of Swashray or self help etc. A report of this meeting is available. Many veteran Gandhian constructive workers and thinkers like Shankarrao Deo, Acharya Bhagawat, Annasaheb Sahasrabuddhe, Baba Amate, Prema Kantak etc. were present. They acclaimed my new approach as a new most effective Gandhian way to achieve the objective of Gram Swarajya and Sarvoday. Baba Amte made two pertinent observations on my exposition, which I would like to quote:

"I am enthused with the idea of cell of Prayog Pariwar and Venture generation among the masses by working with the people. This is a new breakthrough in the field of sociology of science and education to bring prosperity to all. "

"Prayog Pariwar is not limited to working with Grape growing or poultry alone, but it is an experimenting network, ever exploring new ventures which address various social and life context. It is important to create this awareness, otherwise there will be convenient misunderstanding among the people which lead to fixation like Mahatma Gandhi as Charkha Gandhi, Baba Amte as 'Leprosy Amte' and likewise Prayog Pariwar as 'Grape Pariwar' that will limit the vast potential of this novel approach. "

In this meeting at Sevagram, I got yet another nickname "Venturanand" - one who takes delight in discovering ventures and also relating various ventures with various other ventures.
